At Proudfoot Kennels, our beliefs for our South African Boerboel
do not differ greatly from how we raise our children.
The less chemically made food the better, for everyone involved.
We realize that there are quite a few myths and
misunderstandings surrounding what is commonly known as the BARF
diet or RAW feeding, in fact we ourselves had these same
concerns that you may have right now!
However, due to the continuing
problems with different pet food companies that are nationally
supplying food to millions of our "best friends" and these
products being taken off the shelves due to contamination of
some sort, we felt it was time to introduce everyone to what we
have been feeding our dogs.
We sat down and talked in detail to quite a few different
breeders, veterinarians, owners, trainers, and food suppliers
all in order to form an educated decision.
We have seen first hand the wonderful things that taking your
best friend off of a kibble fed diet and putting them onto a raw
fed diet does within weeks! |
